Animal Defense Partnership
The Animal Defense Partnership’s mission is to contribute their pro bono legal services to nonprofit organizations who advocate and care for animals in sanctuaries and rescues to enable those organizations to focus on reducing animal suffering. The AWOIP (Animal Welfare Organization Insurance Program) team has partnered up with GFAS to create unique insurance protections specifically geared toward the needs of equine, farmed animal, and wild and exotic animal facilities. Coverages available include general liability, directors and officers, property, professional liability, and animal care, custody, and control-just to name a few. For those rescues and sanctuaries utilizing foster care placements, liability insurance is available which can extend coverage to foster homes.AWOIP offers credits for GFAS Accredited and Verified organizations.
